The lovely 2015 growing season produced a Petite that is rich, opulent and ready to drink. 50% of the fruit for this wine came from our dry farmed vines, (which means we don’t irrigate them) so the wine is concentrated and full bodied, while the other 50% came from our head trained hill side vines, which imprints an aromatic spice character. Dark spices of chocolate and pepper swirl out of the glass while blackberry pie and root beer await your palate. Although being known as an age-worthy variety, this bottling is ready to enjoy now with hearty pastas, grilled meats or hard cheeses. But don’t be afraid to age this one as well. Treats will reveal themselves for years to come.
